кстати, предлагаю скидывать на яндекс или мэйл. Там открылись файловые хранилища и работают оч быстро.

The Music of Eduard Artemiev

I have listened to this album by Eduard Artemiev for a few years but I was always under the impression it was recorded in 1984.

The fact that the music was recorded between 1976 and 1983 makes this an even more incredible album that I thought.

Some of the music sounds timeless and it is such a shame that Russian electronic/avant-garde artists and composers don't get the credit and attention they deserve.

This is the perfect example of British technology via the EMS Synthi 100 and Russian creativity working as a seamless whole, generating more than the sum of its parts.

It is amazing to think the artists did not actually own the EMS Synthi 100 (which cost £6500 when it was sold in 1971, the price figure, which was equivalent to the cost of an average house here in the UK, may explain why only 40 units were sold!).
